Asheville

Last weekend we took a road trip to Asheville, which is about 2 and a half hours west of us, in the mountains. It was very cool (literally and figuratively) and beautiful, sort of an eastern Boulder. I loved the hotel Brooke picked out for us:

And the restaurant we liked so much we ate there twice:

And the café inside an English double-decker bus:

On the way back we stopped at The Blowing Rock:


And drove through Pisgah National Forest, along the incredible Blue Ridge Parkway, listening to the perfect music. We fed baby carrots to a friendly horse:

And had a successful photo shoot:

I love North Carolina more than ever!

What a great trip! There should be way more cafes inside double-decker buses.
